Reyes gets the medical all-clear

José Antonio Reyes, central midfielder for Sevilla FC, returned to training after recovering from a partial ligament tear in his left knee. The former Real Madrid CF and Club Atlético de Madrid player picked up the injury against FK Mladost Podgorica.

The manager of the Andalusian side, Unai Emery, confirmed at the press conference following the session that the player won’t be risked in Thursday’s game against SC Freiburg in the UEFA Europa League, but didn’t rule out the possibility of Reyes making a return against UD Almería in Liga BBVA at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on Sunday.
