The #PremiosLaLiga Gala once again delighted all supporters on what was an unforgettable night for Spanish football. The Palacio de Congresos de Valencia was the setting for the latest edition of the successful event, which recognised the top players in the 2015/16 season in LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 as well as the leading goalscorer in the Liga Iberdrola.
Nobody wanted to miss out on the soiree, which saw over 1,000 guests, including sporting figures, actors, singers and various personalities, strut down the #PremiosLaLiga red carpet, while several accredited media figures eagerly watched on and snapped away. The event, which was broadcast in over 180 countries, then kicked off, with those not in attendance able to follow the proceedings live on GOL, beIN LaLiga, LaLiga.es and the LaLiga Facebook page.
Comedian Dani Martinez was entrusted with hosting the gala with jokes aplenty, alongside fellow comic Leo Harlem and presenter Eva Marcela. A total of 17 awards were given out to the very best performers from last season.
Singer and producer Red One and Spanish group Fangoria provided musical entertainment throughout the gala, which has become a landmark event in the world of sport.

- Best Newcomer: Marco Asensio (RCD Espanyol)
- LaLiga World Player: Luis Suarez (FC Barcelona)
- Jugador Cinco Estrellas de la Aficion (Fans' Five-Star Player): Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid)

- Best Goalkeeper: Isaac Becerra (Girona FC)
- Best Defender: Florian Lejeune (Girona FC)
- Best Midfielder: Jose Campaña (AD Alcorcon)

- Best Newcomer: Jose Naranjo (Nastic)
