Valencia CF and Levante UD will meet at 20:00 in one of the most passionate derbies of recent years. The match will mark the debut of Juan Antonio Pizzi as manager of the ché.
The new manager of the home club, currently eleventh in the Liga BBVA, is relishing his first match with the team: "Tomorrow I will be very happy to be the coach of Valencia". He also gave some insight into his game plan: "We plan to dominate from the word go". Pizzi can expect to have all his players available for selection.
Levante, thirteenth in the league, found its last victory on the road against RC Celta de Vigo in October. The side's manager, Joaquín Caparrós, is aware of what they need to improve on: "We have to be confident, clinical and efficient in front of goal and we cannot make defensive errors". Centre-back David Navarro, midfielders Sergio Pinto and Miguel Pallardó and striker Babá Diawara, are all unavailable due to injury. Full-back Juanfran García will also miss the clash as he was sent off in the last match against Club Atlético de Madrid.
