Official Statement from the LFP

Regarding the information published in the press on the registration of Real Murcia CF, SAD with the LFP, this national league states the following:

1 The LFP is legally unable to proceed with the registration of Real Murcia with this sports association. In this regard, on 7 August 2014, this national league’s Judge of Social Discipline issued an order which, among other sanctions, decrees the relegation of Real Murcia from the division for committing very serious infringements of the Articles of Association. Such infringements are related to the maintenance of debts with the State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT) of the amount of more than 12 million euros.

2 As of today, the above-mentioned resolution is enforceable, according to that provided in article 89 of the Articles of Association of the LFP, and it was also approved by the ruling of the Administrative Court of Sports, on 8 August 2014.
3 This national league has not received any official notification from any jurisdictional body with a view to proceed with its registration in the competition. Without prejudice to the above, any case brought to trial, where applicable, by Real Murcia CF, SAD is independent of the disciplinary procedure through which the entity has been relegated.
Due to all of the above, this national league today reiterates that under no circumstances shall Real Murcia CF, SAD be able to be registered in this sporting season.
