Official Statement

In compliance with the provisions of section 3.3.4 of the "Foundations for the RFP for the commercialisation in the domestic market of exploitation rights of certain audio-visual content of the National Championship of the First Division League and the Copa del Rey for the 2015/2016 season" (the "Terms") and, once the period for the submission of bids for the candidates has concluded, the act of opening up will have proceeded.

The event was attended by the chairman of the Higher Sports Council, D. Miguel Cardenal Carro, Deputy Director General of Professional Sports and Financial Control, D. Fernando Puig de la Bellacasa and Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Superior Sports Council, D. Óscar Graefenhain. Also attending: D. Melcior Soler i Sala, Director of the Audiovisual Department and Ms. María José López Lorenzo, Legal Director.

Concluding the opening ceremony, LaLiga proceeded to make a timely evaluation of the various tenders submitted, in accordance with the specific criteria of paragraph 3.3.5 of the same
In accordance with the above, LaLiga states:

a) The scores obtained by various candidates who have submitted offers for Lot 3, consisting of "Exclusive opening summaries", are as following:

Scores	80,69	64,79	57,26	43,45

 

As a result of this, Lot 3 is allocated exclusively to RTVE, having attained the highest total score.

b) With regards to Lots 1 and 2, given that it has not reached the individual reserve price of the Lot referrals, LaLiga will proceed to take appropriate individual negotiations with operators to try and reach an agreement that meets the established reasonable effect in accordance with paragraph 2.3 of the basic terms.
