The II edition of 'Champions for Life' is getting close, and the definitive list of players from Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante who do not want to miss out on such a special game has been confirmed. It is a game that will raise funds to combat Ebola in Africa and other projects of Liga BBVA and Adelante clubs in Sevilla, Nicaragua, Mozambique, Madagascar and other African countries.
Teams from the Valencian community will provide a total of eight players. The representatives of Valencia CF will be defenders Rubén Vezo and José Luis Gayà, and striker Rodrigo Moreno. Simão Mate and Jesús Fernández, of Levante UD, Elche CF's Edu Albacar and Giovani dos Santos and Luciano Vietto, of Villarreal CF will also take part.
UD Almería will be represented by Miguel Ángel Corona and Édgar Méndez, who will be joined on the pitch by Lucas Vázquez, Paco Montañés and Javi López, of RCD Espanyol. Their city neighbours FC Barcelona will be represented by Ivan Rakitić. Aymeric Laporte and Mikel Rico from Athletic Club, Chory Castro of Real Sociedad and SD Eibar's Xabi Irureta and Raúl Albentosa will also play. The Liga Adelante will be represented by Cedrik from At. Osasuna and R. Racing C.'s David Concha, among others.
The match, tickets for which will be available from 5 euros each on www.entradas.com, will see 66 Liga BBVA and Adelante players in the East and West teams, square off in three 30 minute 'halves'. You can also contribute by sending an SMS with the word UNICEF to 38028.
