Luis Enrique (Gijón, Asturias, May 8, 1970) has won the 2014/15 Liga BBVA Best Coach award by his own merit. It was last season when he reached the bench of FC Barcelona and successes have not ceased to go with him.
The challenge for the "Gijonés" was to make forget the previous season, in which Barcelona got no titles, and he has more than fulfilled. He led the Catalans into football history after becoming the only team to achieve two trebles. And it is that Luis Enrique won in his first year the 2014/15 Liga BBVA title, the UEFA Champions League and the Copa Del Rey.
2014/15 Liga BBVA of Luis Enrique's Barcelona was almost spotless. In addition to taking the title, the Barça team showed itself virtually invincible with a record of 30 victories, four draws and just four defeats. To their almost perfect league other merits such as being the team with least goals conceded in the season, with only 21 goals, should be added.
An exceptional season of Luis Enrique's team and the coaching work of the Asturian manager, who debuted at the club in the best possible season. All those successes have helped him to conquer the 2014/15 Liga BBVA Best Coach award.
