Jesus Peralta was born and raised in Venezuela before moving to Los Angeles later in life. He’s been a Real Madrid fan for many years.
“I fell in love with the team as a result of players like Iván Zamorano, Fernando Redondo, Fernando Hierro,” he said.
Real Madrid also had Raul who was Jesus’ all-time favorite player.
Coincidentally, he used to watch Real Madrid games at a bar called ‘Barcelona’ around FC Barcelona fans.
“You can imagine how awkward that was,” he said. “As soon as I found the Peña here it was love at first sight and I’ve been with them ever since.”
In 2014 he joined the Peña’s board as secretary.
“Our group is very dynamic, very diverse. It’s got that flavor that makes the experience of coming to watch a game with us [feel] as if you were at the Bernabeu,” said Jesus.
