LaLiga leads the way in brand detection thanks to Blinkfire Analytics

From the exposure and engagement of the content, Blinkfire calculates the monetary value of those social posts, attributing an earned media value to brands.

Following a recent agreement, Blinkfire Analytics will provide LaLiga with detailed information about the impact of the content shared by teams, players and sponsors on social media. In the past few years, social and digital advertising has grown at higher rates compared to traditional formats, but there were no fast and accurate methods to measure the exposure brands receive on those social channels across earned, owned, and paid media.

Blinkfire Analytics has developed a platform that uses its proprietary and patent pending computer vision and machine learning technology to identify brand logos in the images and videos posted by players, teams, leagues, media companies and fans on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, YouTube, Tencent and Sina Weibo. From the exposure and engagement of the content, Blinkfire calculates the monetary value of those social posts, attributing an earned media value to brands.

Access to  Blinkfire's data and insights will enable LaLiga to design better social marketing strategies and negotiate geographically specific sponsorship deals with accurate and measurable data, creating new business opportunities as La Liga expands their footprint globally.
