Aritz Aduriz

The Basque forward came through the youth academy at Athletic Club, the club where he spent the majority of his career. After the first few years in which he went out on loan to Burgos CF and Real Valladolid CF the striker became a regular in the Athletic first team. In 2008 he decided to take on new challenges first at RCD Mallorca before he joined Valencia CF, where he spent two seasons until returning to Athletic. These proved to be the striker's best years at San Mamés, until an injury towards the end of the 2019/20 brought his career to an end.  Aduriz is a true club legend at Athletic.
