Vietto: "We will try to give a top performance"

Luciano Vietto, new Atlético Madrid signing for next season, attended LaLiga.es during the stay of the “colchonero” team in China within the LFP World Challenge Tour, where they will face Shanghai SIPG on Wednesday in their second match of LaLiga World. The Argentine was excited about the “colchonero” project and said he will try to "give top performance".

"We really thank the affection of people that approaches. What we will try is to give the best display for all to enjoy", said Vietto as he stressed their intention to "contribute with a lot of things to the team” in his new career as Atlético player. "It's a quality squad that strive and compete in an amazing way every day," he said.

The Argentine also had words of praise for the coaching team lead by manager Diego Pablo Simeone: "It is a demanding and excellent coaching staff, winners, and they know how to get the most of each player. I am still a young lad, I have much to learn and it will come good" he said.
