GENUINE Moeve welcomes Cultural Leonesa, CD Mirandés, and AD Ceuta

LALIGA GENUINE Moeve is a pioneering football league that promotes inclusion and equal opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Developed by LALIGA through its Foundation, the league is expanding its list of participating clubs for the upcoming 2025–26 season with the addition of Cultural Leonesa, CD Mirandés, and AD Ceuta.

With these three new teams joining, the league will now include a total of 50 clubs united by the purest values of football: tolerance, respect, and sportsmanship. These principles shine through in every match of this unique competition, which began more than eight years ago.

This expansion serves as a powerful reminder of football’s role as a force for inclusion across Spain. It also reflects professional football’s commitment to a project that encourages the normalization of sports participation among people with intellectual disabilities, while supporting diversity and progress in areas such as education, social development, and workplace inclusion.

 

Olga de la Fuente, Director of the LALIGA Foundation, celebrates this milestone and what it means for the project: “Reaching 50 registered teams is more than just a number. It represents an unstoppable social movement that keeps growing thanks to the commitment of clubs and the passion of those who believe in authentic, inclusive, and transformative football. This milestone confirms that when the values of sport become a driving force for change, their impact is both real and enduring.”

As the 50 teams, made up of more than 1,400 players and coaching staff, prepare to take part in the 8th edition of this project, LALIGA and its Foundation are already working on all the organizational details for the 2025/26 season of LALIGA GENUINE Moeve. As usual, it will kick off this coming November with plenty of new features and surprises for all participants.
