Gonzalo, LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month for January

Gonzalo García's goal against Real Betis has been voted LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month for January. The young Real Madrid forward produced a sensational volley from outside the area to make it 2-0 at the Bernabéu.

In the 50th minute of the match, with the score at 1-0, Gonzalo found the net again after a cross from Valverde, which he controlled with his chest and fired home with his right foot from outside the area, leaving Álvaro Valles with no chance.

Real Madrid's number 16 wins the LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month award for the first time after beating Carlos Romero (RCD Espanyol) and Vladyslav Vanat (Girona FC) in the final vote.
