Getafe carry on winning

Getafe CF secured a 0-2 win versus Granada CF in Sunday's first Liga BBVA game thanks to an own goal from Jeison Murillo and a Pedro León strike.

The Madrid side had a numerical advantage for most of the game as Pape Diakhaté was sent off in the first half, and with the victory cement their place in the European spots. In addition to taking the three points at Granada, Luis García equals the record of four consecutive wins achieved by José Miguel González ‘Míchel’ with Getafe in the 2010/11 season.

Granada weren't able to take their second consecutive home victory. On a positive note for the side from Andalusia, Piti came back from injury after missing the las five games.
