Víctor Muñoz, LALIGA EA SPORTS 25/26 Best Under-23 Player in February

CA Osasuna player Víctor Muñoz has been named LALIGA EA SPORTS Best Under-23 Player in February, an award given by LALIGA in conjunction with Riyadh Season.

The 23-year-old midfielder continued his fine form with three impressive performances for the Navarran club in a month in which they remained unbeaten in LALIGA.

After a January in which he scored against Real Oviedo and Villarreal CF, Víctor Muñoz started February by contributing to Osasuna's 2-1 victory with a good performance in which he played the full 90 minutes. A week later, Osasuna secured a draw away to Elche CF in a match in which the midfielder was substituted in the 68th minute. But the best was yet to come. Víctor Muñoz shone in his side's 2-1 win over LALIGA leaders Real Madrid, in a special match for him against his former team in which, in addition to excelling, he scored the first goal of the game.

Víctor Muñoz beat Álvaro Carreras (Real Madrid), Mikel Jauregizar (Athletic Club), Nobel Mendy (Rayo Vallecano) and Arnau (Girona FC) in the final vote, succeeding Girona FC's Vitor Reis, who won the award in January.
