Manolo González, LALIGA EA SPORTS Coach of the Month for December

Manolo González has been named LALIGA EA SPORTS Coach of the Month for December. Under his leadership, RCD Espanyol ended the year with spectacular results. The blue and whites have racked up five consecutive wins and, with 33 points, are fifth in the table. This month, they beat Rayo Vallecano 1-0, Getafe 0-1 at the Coliseum, and Athletic Club 1-2 to close out the year.

What's more, under Manolo González, the Pericos can dream big: they are just two points away from the Champions League zone, closely following Marcelino's Villarreal. 

The Lugo native, who already won this award last season, lifts it for the first time in 25/26, beating Hansi Flick (FC Barcelona) and Claudio Giráldez (RC Celta de Vigo) in the final vote.
