Granada fights until the end against Ittihad Tangier

Granada CF fought to the last breath for victory in the LFP World Challenge Tour match against Ittihad Tangier, but the Moroccan team finally won 2-1.

Ittihad Tangier took the lead after just ten minutes from the start thanks to Zoran Plazonić struck. Granada's response was immediate with a shot by Piti which was stopped by the goalkeeper Mohammed, but the Moroccans scored a new goal on a counterattack by Kachani Badr. Far from give up, the Andalusian side reduced differences before the break with a goal from Youssef El Arabi, who did not failed in his appointment with the goal in front of fellow countrymen.

In the second half, Granada did not cease in their attempt to reverse the situation trying to end up taking the victory. But again, goalkeeper Mohammed was crucial to prevent the Nazarí comeback with two great saves to a header from Jean-Sylvain Babin and a great shot by Robert Ibañez. Finally, despite the struggle and effort of the Andalusian side, Tangier team could maintain their advantage.
