Renowned international broadcaster Gary Lineker returns to LaLigaTV for one of the biggest games of the season as Sevilla FC face Real Madrid in a top-of-the-table clash, kicking off at 8pm BST on Sunday.

The former FC Barcelona great and current host of BBC’s Match of the Day will be on-site from the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán, alongside LaLigaTV pundits Terry Gibson and Andrea Orlandi, bringing fans all the action and insights from 7.30pm.

Joining them from LaLigaTV’s studios will be Phil Kitromilides, Albert Ferrer and Graham Hunter, presenting up-to-the-minute analysis in English for audiences in multiple territories across the globe.

After securing their place in the Champions League semi-finals on Tuesday, Real Madrid (72 pts) will look to widen their advantage at the top of the table, with both FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC (60 pts) in pursuit with just seven matchdays remaining in LaLiga Santander.

Ahead of his latest appearance on LaLigaTV, Lineker said: “I look forward to returning to Spain and experiencing all the passion of what promises to be a fantastic fixture.

“LaLiga is always very competitive and with Sevilla unbeaten at home this season, Real Madrid will face a tough test. We’ve already seen midweek the resolve of Carlo Ancelotti’s side. On the other hand, Sevilla did take the lead in Madrid in November. I’m particularly looking forward to watching Karim Benzema live once more, given the spectacular form he’s in.”

7.30pm - LaLiga LIVE programming starts on LaLigaTV
