Bitkernel Group joins as a collaborator in the fight against piracy at a global level

Bitkernel Group, a global Internet technology company that offers cloud-based streaming services, reached an agreement with LALIGA, DIRECTV Latin America and SKY Brasil to join the fight against audiovisual piracy in Latin America and the rest of the world.

In their commitment to the fight against audiovisual fraud, LALIGA, DIRECTV Latin America and SKY Brasil have signed a settlement agreement with Bitkernel Group by which a process for the removal, blocking and takedown of unauthorized websites, platforms and brands is implemented within the framework of a judicial process.

Thus, based on the aforementioned agreement and as a streaming platform, Bitkernel commits to improving its claims management procedure and to promoting appropriate practices in matters of copyright, according to the agreement signed at the beginning of this year.

The integration of Bitkernel Group into the ecosystem of collaborators of LALIGA, DIRECTV Latin America and SKY Brasil reinforces the global nature of the fight against piracy, and the need for joint action by all the actors involved against the number one threat to the sports and entertainment industry today.
