Match Facts:
Athletic (7th, 23 pts):
-The Bilbao-based outfit are riding a nine-game unbeaten streak in LaLiga Santander meetings with Celta (W5, D4), and should they avoid defeat here, they would equal their best-ever record against the Galicians, which came in a 10-game sequence between 1975 and 1987.
-Ernesto Valverde's troops have succeeded in turning San Mames into a real fortress. The hosts are unbeaten in their last six outings on home turf (W5, D1), where they have only succumbed to one reverse all campaign, a 1-0 defeat at the hands of FC Barcelona back on Matchday 2.
Celta (13th, 21 pts):
-Eduardo Berizzo's charges will be targeting an upturn in fortunes on the road, after having prevailed just once on their travels this term, with a record that reads four draws and five defeats. Celta's last away triumph came back in September, when they ran out 2-0 winners at RCD Espanyol on Matchday 6.
-On-form Iago Aspas is certain to give the Athletic backline plenty to think about. The Galician hitman is proving to be an instrumental figure for the Vigo side and he comes into this one on red-hot form, having found the net eight times in his last eight appearances.
